Synopsis

In 1971 before 25 March Matin, a young man joined a jute mill in Khulna, a district of the then East Pakistan. He brought his newly wed wife Sanjida with him. They have just registered, not yet completed other rituals of marriage as reception party. Sanjida was unhappy that she had not visited her in laws still. However, this couple started their new life in the guest house of the mill. Days went by. All on a sudden at the end of March Pakistani army raided the mill. They arrested Matin. Sanjida somehow could escape. Then started her struggle, a journey through unknown places and villages, meeting unknown people who are also looking for a safe place. She could also feel a new life inside her. She is desperate to save herself. She does not yield. It is a story of a young girl, striving for life despite the war-torn time.
